Organic Rose Oil

Organic Rose Oil The pure rose oil in our products is made from organic damask rose petals. This single source of Bulgarian roses is grown by the Nikolaev family. Apparantly the communist regime confiscated land which was left overgrown and was only returned about 10 years ago. The petals are steam distilled to extract the precious drops of oil. The petals must be picked early in the morning before the oils are lost to the atmosphere by the heat of the sun. Rose oil is a natural source of retinol which has been shown to have anti-wrinkle properties due to it's ability to stimulate collagen production. It's fragrance imparts feelings of warmth and happiness quite unlike synthetic substitutes.
